sleep... frog socks...

it has been a long week and i'm pretty sure i won't remember every significant event that happened since the last time i wrote. so, rather than writing whatever happens to enter my head right now (which could be just about anything and would more than likely have no logical train of thought), i'll just write about last night.

since master's was playing biola last night, i got work off and went with happy, travis, nick, and jared (nick's brother) down to biola to watch the game. a bunch of IBEXers came to see ken, who is a biola student and IBEXer. pretty much everyone stayed to hang out with ken after the game, but happy and i went back because we both had lots of homework to do. yeah, it was a good decision, although it would have been fun to hang out with everyone.

once we got back, happy and i did homework in the Cdub study lounge and actually got a lot done. i read 150 pages in the book i had to finish and then decided that i would get up in the morning to finish the last 30 pages and write my 1 page paper. it actually happened too, which was definitely God's grace. i even worked out this morning! crazy. i realized how much working out improves my attitude. not that it's an excuse to have a bad attitude if i don't work out, but it helps. right, so last night i got 2 1/2 hours of sleep and i'm not entirely sure what i'm talking about at this point. my mind keeps wandering.

this afternoon i took a 15 minute nap after class and before work. no joke, i was asleep basically as soon as my head hit the pillow. i set my alarm though and when it went off i yelled as i woke up. it was strange because i've never done that. then for about 10 seconds i had no clue where i was or why my alarm was going off or what i needed to do. also strange. then i figured it out and went down to work. mostly, it's been an uneventful evening since then. ruth and abigail are with heather and me in our room now though :-D it's a party! except ruth is sick and laying on my bed. she's wearing my frog socks. hehe. i forgot about those.

well, i'm going to go. maybe i'll do some homework. God bless!
