my mom

before i get into the cheesy part of my post, today was a pretty good day... nice and busy! i babysat maya from about 9-1:15 then went home and read for a little bit before picking lisa up from work at 2:30. from there, we went to see erin to sign her cast. she was at work at ward's nursery packaging ornaments. needless to say, she was thankful for the break and quick visit for us to sign her cast. she broke her ankle last wednesday (the same day that woman hit lisa's car) and got a permanent cast put on yesterday. after visiting erin i went to taft to get a pie with john and pennie (my boss) was again not there. we got our pie, john asked paul about fishing, and then we came home. shortly after we got home mom asked lisa and me to walk to the video store and get An American Tail, which we just finished watching. i must say, being busy definitely helps the day to go by quickly! not that i'm in any rush to leave.... i just.... wouldn't mind seeing someone in CA :-)

ok, now for the cheesy part. mom found out that my kosher thanksgiving was less than what she would have done, even though i told her it was pretty awesome to have in Israel. sooo, she's making an entire thanksgiving dinner tonight. the turkey's been in the oven for a few hours now and we'll probably be eating around 7:30 or 8:00.... a thanksgiving dinner complete with mashed potatoes, stuffing, green bean casserole, candied yams, rutabaga and mom's gravy! mmmm..... yeah, i'm hoping that my stomach will allow me to enjoy all this wonderful food. my mom is the BEST mom i've ever had... hehe....

tomorrow i have another busy day, which i'm looking forward to. as plans go, i'll be with maya from 9:30 til 1 or 2 and then again tomorrow night around 5 or 6 until 9 or 10. yeah, it's a little fuzzy as to when i'll be gone, but that's ok because i'll be making money and keeping busy at the same time! woo hoo! for now, i'm going to read until dinner though. adios!
