it's late and my computer works

i'm in Hotchkiss lounge right now and i just witnessed the tormenting of four guys who got engaged over Christmas break. as tradition goes, the guys are duct-taped to a chair and covered from head to toe with syrup, bird seed, dog food, beans (at least those were the ingredients this time). normally the fiancé is then supposed to kiss the guy so he's allowed to go free. inevitably it ends up with the sticky guy chasing after all the guys who tackled him, trying to get them all gross too. then they all went and jumped in the pool. i'm not sure if that's how it always happens, but that's how it appeared to me. i'm just glad i'm a girl, although it was really funny to watch.

ok, so aside from that, my computer finally is fixed. i have a new screen and my internet works and everything. WOO HOO!! classes are going well and i'm pretty sure i'll be getting into english literature with horner like i'd hoped. yesterday was a bit of a crazy day and i was feeling a tad overwhelmed until i realized that i only had one more class on top of what i'd gotten up to that point. so after that it didn't seem as bad.

ALSO i got my work schedule changed so that i'm not working for 10 hours on tuesdays, praise the LORD. i didn't think through that decision before scheduling it, but catherine asked if i could switch to thursday morning because she has a piano lesson. what a wonderful reminder of the Lord's sovereignty, even over seemingly small things. alright, i think i'm going to end here. wednesday is another busy day! good night and God bless!
