quick break
good morning! i've been up for about 3 1/2 hours already and it feels like it should be later in the day. i like it like this though because then hopefully i'll be diligent with my time. right now i'm at work, only i have a 15 minute break right now. it's been a sloooooow morning. when i did the library use survey at 9 there were only 10 people in the entire place. jason and i have shelved everything there was to shelf and i typed tables of contents for about an hour while i was on desk. but THEN i got to go send a package, which meant i left the library for about 15 minutes to go down to the mail center. yeah, it was really exciting for me :-) it's good to find joy in small things right? haha.
well, i only have a few more minutes for my break. i only work until 11:30, then i'll have lunch with happy and go to class from 12:45-2:10 pm. after that i haven't decided if i'll go back to my room to do homework or stay in the library until dinner. it's dangerous for me to go back to my room during the day because usually i want to take a nap. hehe. we'll see how that goes. tonight i have bible study though from 7-10 ish. i love my bible study! i've missed it SO MUCH! katie slusher (she was with us in Israel) is coming with me and ruth tonight and maybe heather too so we're all having dinner at 6 and then leaving for bible study. i'm excited!! ok, i'd better get back to work. have a wonderful day and God bless!

Dear Amy,
I just commenting not specifically on this blog, but on the past few blogs: I am mildly alarmed that Andrew is talking about me, and would like to press upon you that all the incidents he is referring to are long since in the past, and that also, as part of my constitutional rights, I have the right to face my accuser. Any references he makes regarding the alleged "Nunchuck incident" should be stricken from the record as the constitute hearsay, if not out and out lies. On another topic, as a respected member of Andrew's extended family, and a gentleman of good standing, I would like to extend our heartiest congratulations on you self-proclaimed "burping abilities"; Andrew's on talent in that area are widely known and was a cause of some concern amongst us in regards to how any Lady friends he may have were to react. I am horribly glad to see that is does not bother you. Also, I am concerned, as all students should naturally be, about your enthusiasm for school, which seems, in the most base terms, freakish. But to each thier own I suppose, though I doubt I will personally ever get my head around such a notion.
Anyway, this was me being bored, and deciding to comment, so I hope this comment finds you in the best of health, and if you could find it in your heart to remind a certain acquaintance we share in common (*cough*Andrew*cough*) that he has yet to a) update his blog or b) read certain books about which if he doesn't read will result in his removal from the family. Sorry to make you the middlewoman.
Goodbye and God Bless and keep you always.
~Michael Parker
PS: he hasn't told you anything about "the Story" or its unfortunate predecessor has he? Because that would be downright embarrassing.
hey mike,
unfortunately for you i have heard about the nunchuck incident and i don't believe i'm able to strike that from my memory. maybe some day it'll fade, but for now it's pretty fresh. as for "the story," that one i have not heard although now you've made me curious. however, i won't pry :-)
i'm sorry that happy hasn't updated his blog or read "certain books," but i know he's having a really busy start of the semester. up to now any free time he's had is spent with me or taking precious naps or trying to get to know guys on his wing (since he is an ARA) or doing homework. let's just say he doesn't have too much free time, although i know he wants to read the books you've told him about. keep him in your prayers though, he's still got lots ahead of him.
one last thing, i don't remember mentioning my belching abilities on this blogger thing or telling you of them, though i'm not sure if happy told you... your knowledge of the subject is a bit surprising, but i will say that it is not something i necessarily share about myself from the get-go. it is also something that i hope one day to NOT teach my children. we'll see how that goes... some day.
on that note, i'll sign off. it's late and i'm tired. good night and thanks for your comments! God bless!
