NO FUN UNTIL HOMEWORK IS DONE!!!

so i'm not going to bible study tonight because i realized i have lots of work to do and i need to get my act together. no more of this being unprepared for class thing. time to buckle down! i like heather's motto: "No fun until homework is done!" hehe. although right now i'm just updating to say that this week has been keeping me busy, as usual.

today i went to coffee with ruth and we just sat and talked for a long time. it was SO NICE! i miss having time to talk to roothie :-) we definitely needed that time to catch up and maybe we'll be able to do it every so often since we barely ever see each other anymore!

after coffee with ruth i cut yulia's hair. it took literally 5 minutes. she just needed a 2" trim so it wasn't very involved at all. then i went to dinner with ruth, katie, and heather. we talked about Israel for a while and things we liked and missed. it was fun.

one last thing before i go... i gave a 10 minute testimony in message prep. for women on wednesday and as far as i know it went well. a few girls told me that certain parts of my testimony challenged and encouraged them, which was SO cool to hear. my goal was to make it clear how the Lord's grace had saved me and continued to grow me in my walk with Him. the Lord definitely proved faithful once again! preparing to give my testimony reminded me where i've been. even now i'm learning that the Lord has changed me greatly since He saved me and isn't done yet! that alone is a huge encouragement. i mean really, who actually believes they've got it all figured out? i know sometimes i want to think i do, but knowing that the Lord will continue to sanctify His children is such a comfort. it may not be easy, but i know that each day He is at work in and through me. what a gracious Lord we serve!
