flooded friday

this has been a long week and i'm so thankful it's friday. i'm working again this weekend because one of the girls who is supposed to work has pneumonia and since it's really not a big deal for me, i said i'd switch one of my weekends with her. works out for both of us :-)

just a little side note... it rained nearly all day today and there are rivers flowing down both sides of the two streets we have to walk across to get to class. it was a soggy day, but i like it (particularly when i have my raincoat and proper footwear on so that i'm not cold and wet all day). i hope it rains more while i'm falling asleep! i love listening to the rain before going to bed!

tonight i had dinner with heather and abigail and it was really nice to spend some time with them. ruth is gone for the weekend seeing michael's sister in a debate. as for me, i'm rather sleepy so i think i'm going to hit the hay. since i didn't get up to work out this morning i'm going tomorrow morning before working at 10:30... which means i should go at 8 so i can get a security guard to open the library for me. yeah, i forgot to get the key tonight. i guess i wasn't totally with it today. ah well, time to sleep! good night and God bless!
