sick??

i'm wondering if i'm sick since i keep wanting to sleep. that, and every time i eat my stomach hurts. hmm. well, it's a good thing i'm not working all day every day because it seems i need to get lots of rest and take vitamin C. last night i was supposed to babysit for maya, but jessie called to tell me she had a fever. i'm pretty sure that in the time i've spent with her i could have gotten whatever virus she had, but i'm hoping that getting rest and taking vitamins will prevent it from making me really sick. we'll see.

i went over this morning though and maya was feeling much better. today was a fun day and it went by really fast because we read lots of books. although it was a little weird since two of joe's college buddies were staying at their house. they were nice enough but they just kind of sat around until 12:30 and then left. i think they'll be there tomorrow too when i go over in the morning to watch maya. at one point in the day they were playing guitar and singing a kind of bluegrass type music. maya stopped talking to me (a rare occurrence) and began swinging her little hips and sticking her little pointer fingers in the air. it was really cute :-) i'm glad she's feeling better.

on a sad note, i left my book at their house when i left. bummer. i started reading the book mike and raphaelle gave me for Christmas, but only finished the first chapter. i think i'll go back to that and hopefully stay awake. God bless!
