Maya day 3

i know the day is only half way done, but i'm thinking that after babysitting for maya again tonight i probably won't feel like typing another update on here. this morning maya was feeling much better. when i got there she was in the bath and jessie finished getting her all dried and dressed before we went down to her toy room to play. we read a few books before going to the community center to play in the gymnasium. jessie calls it gymnastics, but it's basically a bunch of mats and a bouncy castle and toys in a gym for kids under 5 yrs old to play with. maya and i had fun :-) but maya is definitely not the rambunctius type. we threw scarves in the air and caught them, and then maya was jumping off this high mat onto a lower one. that was SUPER fun for her. she loved it and did that for a while until we left. when we got back we read about ten more books and she pretended to drive off to work. most of the day we played stuff with zebra and dragon, these two stuffed animals that i make talk. she's really animated with them so it's fun for both of us :-D

as of right now, i'm home and everyone but lisa is here. mom, john, mike, and raphaelle just got back from Christmas shopping and michelle is straightening tom's hair. it looks odd. tom has crazy curly hair. it looks weird seeing it so straight. tonight i'm going back, like i said, to babysit maya while jessie and her husband joe go to their yoga class and have dinner with the class afterwards. i believe i'll be home by 9 ish which is nice since we're leaving early in the morning to visit pop-pop and patty in connecticut. yay, holiday traveling!

ok, so now that it's 2:00 i'm a little hungry. a nectarine and rice cake is definitely not enough for lunch. adios and God bless!
