it's definitely winter

so i've barely been outside at all today, but every time i go to get something out of my "room" on the front porch it is SO COLD! the thermometer says it's 21.7 degrees. brrrr. i'd say it's cold enough to snow for sure, but it's sunny with clear skies today. ah well, snow is in the forecast at least. woo hoo! i love snow!

you may ask "what have you been doing all day that you haven't been outside?" well, you may not ask that, but i'm just going to assume you would since i have nothing else to write about. this morning i woke up at 8 am and had breakfast (cinnamon toast crunch!! yum!!) and read my bible. then my mom saw a picture of happy and me on the desktop of my computer and said i looked like her mom so she showed me an old picture album that had her mom in it. i like old pictures, but i didn't think i looked that much like her. my mom said i have her eyes and eyebrows and smile. interesting. then she was looking at the same picture on my computer and said i looked beautiful and radiant. funny. she said that pop-pop (her dad) had told her that, in every picture i sent him of happy and me, i looked radiant. haha, well i guess i wear what's inside me on my face huh? :-D

anyways, after looking at pictures everyone pretty much left. lisa went off to work and mom and john to the gallery. so i've been unpacking, doing laundry, wrapping presents, cleaning and organizing a bit, and listening to my christmas cd from happy. i think it's been a productive day, but i still have a lot to do, so i'm going to get back to it. i thought this would be a nice break. hope you have a wonderful day!
