in retrospect
it's weird being done while everyone else is still studying for finals. although, the last final is going on right now so when they're done there will be a mad rush to pack or finish the year end show (like happy). i for one am glad to be done, but it's definitely starting to hit me that we're leaving tomorrow night. ha, starting... no, really continuing. for a while i've been thinking what i regret not doing while i've been in israel, but it occurred to me today that i can't think like that. the Lord has blessed me SO much this semester. yes, there have been trials, but this is by far the best semester ever. i suppose it could be influenced by happy, well of course it is, but i've had an entire semester to walk where Jesus walked. even though i've struggled through my classes, i've learned so much about the Holy Land and God's people. i've also learned a lot about myself. spending all my time with the same 36 people for 3 and a half months has helped me to see how much of a sinner i am. i know i wouldn't outright say it, but for the most part i think i'm a pretty good person. yeah, i'm way wrong. thankfully i've had people around me this semester to challenge me in areas i've never thought to work on. so, in retrospect, the Lord has accomplished great things, and i've been so blessed to see Him work!
