work... it's all i have to talk about

hmm... haven't written in a few days. well i went in to taft farms monday morning and found out that rather than being a cashier for $8 an hour, i'm going to stock and organize the store for $9 an hour!! yeah, the Lord knows what He's doing. so i work there from 7:30 am til 3:30 pm five days a week. today i had to work at fashion bug so this was one of my days off from taft. i will always get sundays off, which is awesome!

today i talked to my boss at fashion bug and found out i get $6.75 an hour, which is minimum wage. although i do get 40% off of anything from there, unless it's on sale, then it's only 20% off. i'm getting a better attitude about being there though. it hasn't been as awful as that first sunday, but that's mostly because i haven't been out front much. :-D haha... yeah, i've been putting things on hangers and stuff in the back, but i'm getting used to the computers and everything. my boss is strange, but sweet and she seems to really like me so that's good.

oooh yeah, i almost forgot! last night while i was working at the bug i met one of my co-workers who is a Christian. SO cool! she told me about her church and even though i think i visited it before, i figured i could check it out again. we'll see. i still want to check out two other churches around here, but i also want to go up to NH and visit my church up there. i miss them SO much!

that reminds me... i'm hoping to go up to NH the first weekend in june, the 5th and 6th, and it shouldn't be that hard to get off work since i won't be working sundays. this is so exciting! what a gracious Lord!
