san francisco

last night at midnight jeff, josh, keturah and i all drove up to san francisco to spend the day. we left around midnight thursday night/friday morning and arrived in sf around 6:30 am. i slept in the car, and keturah did as well for a little while, but other than that, not much sleeping happened. we had a great time though! we saw the golden gate bridge and went to china town. keturah showed us some cute little coffee shops and we went to city lights book store, which was probably my favorite part of the day. then we left around 1 pm and got back to school at about 7:30 pm. yeah, that'll be a trip i won't forget for a while. it was one of those last minute "hey, let's drive six hours one way to have breakfast in san francisco!" haha. i'm so glad i went. jeff said it was their "senior trip" and i was like, "um... i'm a sophomore..." he's like "yeah, we're just showing you the ropes." ha. lucky me! i'll be all set for my senior year!

i learned that i can sleep in almost any position in almost any place. although, it did remind me of being in alton bay one summer with some friends and falling asleep on the sidewalk while everyone sat around talking at about 1 am. ha. that was interesting. two of the guys alternated carrying me up the hill. i have great friends! ah memories...

well, other than that, not much is new. i had to re-schedule my appointment with dr smith til tomorrow morning, which i was bummed about, but i'm glad we could re-schedule.

as we saw the golden gate bridge, the fog was rolling in over the bay and i was just in complete awe of the Lord and His creation. i mean, honestly, how can someone look at that and think "wow, amazing how it all just fell together like that!" seriously, we serve such an amazing Lord! and on that note, i'm going to go read His Word. He is SO good :-D night all and God bless!
