spring break!!!

what a beautiful day it was today and the first official day of spring break!!! it was probably 85 degrees and i went out and sat by the pool for a few hours. it was SO nice. i got a little color, and i'm going out again tomorrow. ben and joel came after a while and decided it would be funny to throw me in the pool. yeah, i wasn't too keen on that idea, so ben put me down. i thought that was nice of him. although i did go in anyways and then they proceeded to jump in right next to me and splash me. boys. it was fun though. i got a good amount of reading done and i enjoyed the sunshine :-D

i also talked to my mom and lisa and dan this morning before i went out. it was so nice to hear their voices. dan was telling me about his invention of invisible blobs. he's the greatest 8 year old brother ever! i miss home!

tonight i had dinner with joanna and elissa, who i just met tonight. joanna made me indian food and it was SO good! then we watched how to lose a guy in 10 days and it was funny, although had quite the girly ending. yep, typical chick flick. but i should have expected that by the title. still, if you cut out the ending, the rest of the movie was hilarious!

joanna drove me up the hill after dinner and there was a group of probably 8 guys sitting outside my dorm. they had taken a couch and a few chairs and a tv out there and were watching a movie. before i got out of the car joanna looked and said something about how she approved of any of those guys for me. she cracks me up. talk about suggesting. ha.

well, i'm almost all caught up with my homework, aside from outlines. why is it that doing them seems so overwhelming? i need to pray for the right attitude before i start. i'm hoping to get ahead in other stuff so that i'll be able to just sit down and do a bunch of outlines. it should be a privilege to be able to examine God's Word and apply it to my life! by God's grace, i'll keep up with work this week... meanwhile, i'm going to get ready for bed and spend some good quality time with the Lord.
