friends

i have such great friends! the Lord is so gracious and blesses so abundantly! tonight was a pretty regular friday night, but i just realized how much i appreciate the friends that the Lord has brought into my life.

ruth and i were going to go see a movie, which was sold out, so we rented one instead. turned out to be really fun. we were both really hyper and just being such dorks together. the best friends in life are the ones you can have fun being a dork with and not worry about what they think of you. the Lord has such a perfect plan!

another random funny story... haha... it makes me laugh to think of it... the guy that asked me out called me tonight a little before 6pm and was like "hey, did we say 5:30 or 6:30 to meet?" and i was like... "uh... 5:30...." and he said "oh... ok... it's almost 6 right?" and i said "mm hmm... but, you said saturday night.... not friday... right?" and he bust out laughing. hahaha.... yeah, so then he apologized for the miscommunication and we laughed. then he came up to me at dinner in the caf and laughed and said something about seeing me tomorrow night. so of course, donovan, who had joined ruth and heather and me for dinner is looking at me like "what was that about?!?!" and then once the guy left he asked me "what was that about?!?!" haha... so then i had to explain the whole thing to him, which of course led to the whole dating-at-master's conversation. man oh man.... i certainly do have some great friends though!

well, on that note, i'm going to read the Word and GO TO BED!!! YAY!!! it's the weekend!!!!! keep the Lord first, He's the only One worthy of that place! God bless!
