crazy weather!

right now i'm at work, but i thought i'd take a quick break to write a post. today has been such a strange day of weather! this morning when i got up to go to the fitness center with katie it was freezing--there was frost on the cars and grass, which doesn't happen often here in southern california. by the time i left for class at 7:50 it had warmed up significantly, but i still was glad to have my sweater. right now, however, it is POURING rain and hail just started about 5-10 minutes ago. people in the library are just going outside and watching it. so funny! it's like they've never seen hail before. hehehe. the hailstones are between the size of a pencil eraser and a small grape so they look pretty funny bouncing up from the grass after they've hit. they look like crickets jumping in and out of the blades. now there are 8 people outside the library. they just watched the baseball team run and dive headfirst into the mud that used to be the baseball field since their game was obviously cancelled. fun fun fun. it looks as though the hail has stopped at elast for now. it'd be nice if the rain stopped too since i'll be walking to north campus at 4... oh... well, now the rain's slowing down. wonderful! alright, back to work. i'll write more later. after the huge party tonight at prof horner's home :-)
