where i left off....

so last thing i was talking about was my sunday. i had lunch with dr smith and his wife to interview them for my marriage and family class. it was SO wonderful! they've been married 33 1/2 years and they are so sweet. the Lord has grown them and taught them such valuable lessons along the way and it was a privilege for me to hear some of it. the Lord is SO good!

after that i spent most of the day reading and then went to night church and came back and did more reading. i had lots to do because i thought i had a reading quiz today, which was moved to wednesday. so even though i stayed up late and only got 4 1/2 hours of sleep and was a zombie all day today, i got a pretty significant amount of reading done, which is awesome. this means that tonight i can focus on finishing my paper for marriage and family class and then GO TO BED!! we'll see if that happens soon. the paper has to be 3-4 pages long, including the questions i asked. i'm thinking it won't be a problem because i just have to talk about what stood out to me.

i'm really excited about my other interview tonight with my bible study host family. they are some of the most caring people and both have a seriously amazing memory. they remember the names of people i mention once to pray for and ask me about them weeks later. they're so great :-)

well, i have about an hour or so before the other interview, so i'm going to do more reading. haven't had enough yet! haha. actually, it's been really good reading and i'm getting challenged by the vast amount of information. i want to learn it all so i know it well, but there's a TON of it. i'm so glad the Lord is faithful and patient. i'm glad He's my strength, although the coffee is helping a lot as well. hopefully tonight i'll get to sleep!! ok, off to homework for real.
