busy? me?

i don't know why i signed up to do this because i'm already really busy. we'll see how long this lasts. i like the idea of keeping a weblog but never seem to keep up with it. so, as i said... we'll see how long this lasts.

i also want to say that i'm a born-again Christian and i love the Lord God and His Son Jesus Christ with all my heart, soul, mind and strength. maybe some day i'll type out how the Lord saved me on this. if you have no clue what i'm talking about, i'd be happy to explain it to you some time. if you'd rather not ask me, then pick up a Bible and read the book of Romans :-)

just as another little intro... lately i've been learning a lot about what it means to be a godly woman. i'm taking a class called marriage and family counseling and it has proved to be very educational, and very convicting. if you've ever read Prov. 31:10-31, it is simply amazing what this godly woman can do. some times i feel a little intimidated by her strength, but then i realize that it is only God's grace that can make a woman like that. so my goal is to press on and keep seeking out my weaknesses and changing them. i know the road is long, but i also know that i'm not walking alone.

in that same class i'm learning about the characteristics that a godly man would have. to be perfectly honest, it's making me not want to get married because the kind of godly man i would want to marry would not want to marry the kind of woman i am right now. i suppose that's why i'm single! :-) but, best of all... i don't have to worry about that. i'm learning how to be a sister in Christ to my brothers and, Lord-willing, seeking His kingdom and His righteousness above all. God is SO good!
